| What Fees May A Marriage Commissioner Charge For Their Services
Fees charged to the public for the performance of a civil marriage are prescribed under the Marriage Act Fees Regulation of British Columbia.
Private marriage commissioners are required to collect the following fees for solemnizing a marriage;

Private Marriage Commissioners retain $50 of the $75 Civil Ceremony fee as a commission for providing this service.
Private Marriage Commissioners may levy fees for the following services. Rates provided are the maximum as recommended by the British Columbia Vital Statistics Agency:
