Ordering a Vital Event Certificate Using a Credit Card
You can now order certificates using our new secure on-line electronic ordering system, in addition to ordering by telephone using a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card.
We suggest that you utilize our new secure electronic ordering system when making application by credit card. This easy convenient way of ordering your documents on-line provides an immediate application, notice of receipt to you and in most cases, where full and complete information has been provided, will have your request in the hands of Canada Post for delivery the next business day.
Please note that due to high volume demands on our operators taking the credit card orders by phone, you may find that waits for the next available operator can be lengthy.
Order by FAX
As of March 31, 2008, faxed requests to order certificates will no longer be accepted.

Processing time for certified photocopies is 20 business days.
